Career Success Rebooted: This is NOT Your Father’s Career

I grew up in a time when Wall Street was booming, shoulder pads (and hair) were big, and a wood paneled station wagon was a status symbol, yes, you guessed right, it was the 80s. My parents each worked in their respective fields for the entirety of their careers and if I asked them what made them a success, my dad would most definitely say it was the fact that he was the boss. My mom would say that it was because she worked at the same place for 30+ years. But if you asked my siblings and me how we define success the answers would be quite different.

This is NOT your fathers career.
